Antique 18ct, Enamel & Diamond Royal Artillery Sweetheart Brooch


This brooch is designed in The Royal Artillery emblem. The Royal Regiment of Artillery (RA) is the artillery arm of the British Army. The emblem has a coronet design at the top decorated in red enamel, below this is a blue enamel band with the regimental motto 'Ubique' (Everywhere). The crown is mounted on top of an artillery gun with a twelve spoke wheel decorated with a circle of tiny diamonds and single diamond at the centre.

Below this is a blue enamel banner, bearing the motto 'Quo Fas Et Gloria Ducunt' (Where Right And Glory Lead).

This highly collectable sweetheart brooch is beautifully presented in its original tooled blue leather box with matching velvet interior and cream silk, lined lid. The inner lid is printed with the maker:
