Victorian, 9ct Gold Engraved Oval, Chain Cufflinks, Maker JA&S
A superb pair of gents 9ct Gold, oval cufflinks with chain attachment, each panel has been intricately engraved with foliate and ivy.
Often seen engraved into jewellery during the Victorian era, the ivy leaf was seen as a symbol of everlasting love and devotion. It is likely then that these cufflinks were worn by a groom on his wedding day.
We think that they would be perfect for a vintage wedding, and make a fantastic heirloom to pass down through the generations
