SOLD - Antique 9ct Rose Gold Shield, Signet Ring, Birmingham


A quality, antique signet ring beautifully crafted in a solid, rich 9ct rose gold. The face of the ring has been designed as a shield with fanned shoulders that taper down to a wide, 3.65mm shank.

This classic signet ring has brilliant, crisp hallmarks with the exception of the date letter (see images).
Hallmarked: 9, 375 (denotes 9ct gold), Anchor (Birmingham assay mark) and the maker's mark (KBSP 'Kinsey Brothers & Patrick).

The shield on the face of the ring measures 13 x 12mm, giving plenty of room for a crest or monogram to be engraved if desired.
