SOLD - Art Deco 14ct White Gold Carved Jade / Jadeite & Diamond Brooch


A stunning Art Deco Jadeite and Diamond brooch featuring a 15.7 x 21.7mm carved Jadeite gemstone, mounted in a claw setting, framed with a white gold, rectangle border mounted with 32 rose-cut diamonds.
The jadeite is beautifully carved in a foliate design, unfortunately it is cracked down the middle - but is held securely in place.
The diamonds each measure around 1.7mm, giving an approximate total carat weight of 0.32ct

MEASUREMENTS: 28 x 23.5mm
WEIGHT: 7.7 grams
HALLMARKS: None - tested as 14carat gold
CONDITION: Fair - though there is a crack in the jade (this is reflected in the price)
DATE: Art Deco (1920 -1935)
