Art Nouveau 15ct Gold, Flower & Wishbone Diamond brooch/pin

This fabulous Art Nouveau brooch features a pansy with a centrally mounted accent diamond, set inside a wishbone and complete with a hinged pin and c-clasp closure. All beautifully crafted in 15ct yellow gold.

The diamond is a sweet, single-cut 1.5mm gemstone, it measures 3mm and has a carat weight of around 0.06ct.

Full of symbolism and sentiment, the pansy represents love and affectionate thoughts - 'I'm thinking of you'. Whilst the wishbone is a symbol of good luck. During the 19th century, wishbone charms were often gifted at weddings to wish the new couple luck in their marriage. The combination makes for an ideal wedding gift, or as a meaningful present for someone special!
