Fabulous Victorian brooch beautifully made in 9carat rose gold, featuring a large 11 x 14.5mm, faceted "Rose de France" Amethyst gemstone, mounted in a crown setting. The Amethyst is framed with an open worked, pearl decorated, foliate surround.
A lovely example from the Art Nouveau era. Complete with T-bar and C- clasp fitting.
The Amethyst is a beautiful purple with pink and lilac hues, estimated carat weight: 7.50 carats
