Art Nouveau Amethyst & Pearl Lavalier Necklace



Beautifully crafted during the Edwardian/Art Nouveau period.
This romantic, French antique necklace has a double bow motif with an amethyst drop set in-between. Two short lengths of chain connect the bows to a matching amethyst drop. The bows are decorated with tiny seed pearls and a central amethyst.  The centre section is connected via chain to a barrel clasp.

Bows are a symbol of love or marriage - the tying together of two

Amethyst is the traditional birthstone for February.
Pearl is the traditional birthstone for June.
