SOLD - Edwardian, 15ct Gold, Opal & Diamond stickpin in antique box


This gorgeous stickpin has been crafted with a semi-translucent, oval, natural opal gemstone at the centre, framed by four 8-cut diamonds set in a quatrefoil design. The ethereal opal has a gorgeous iridescence of blues, flashes of green and glowing oranges.

 

The stunning gemstones have been mounted in a 15ct yellow gold crown setting with an open back which allows the light to shine through the stones. All mounted onto a rose gold barley twist pin. 


This stickpin is in an excellent condition and is beautifully presented in its original navy tooled leather antique box with the inscription: Franklin & Hare, Jewellers & Silversmiths, Parade, Taunton.
