SOLD - Edwardian, 15ct Gold, Opal & Diamond stickpin in antique box


This exquisite antique stickpin has been crafted with a semi-translucent, round, natural opal gemstone at the centre, framed by sixteen twinkling old-cut diamonds set in a daisy design. The ethereal opal has a gorgeous iridescence of blues, flashes of green and glowing oranges.

The gemstones have been mounted in a 15ct yellow gold crown setting with an open back which allows the light to shine through the stones. All mounted onto a 15ct gold barley twist pin.

This highly collectable pin is in a good condition. There is no visible wear to the gemstones, however there is some crookedness in the soldering at the back of the pin. This does not impact the pin's robustness, and is not noticeable when worn!
