Edwardian 18ct Gold, Diamond Star-set Gypsy Ring

Edwardian 18ct Gold, Diamond Star-set Gypsy Ring

A fabulous antique gypsy ring mounted with an old-cut 2.8mm solitaire diamond, mounted in a star setting.
All beautifully made in 18ct gold.
The star setting adds to the magical sparkle of the diamond, it literally twinkles like a star!
The ring measures 6.8mm at its widest point and gently tapers down to a 2.7mm shank.

Traditionally gypsy rings were given as friendship rings and were very popular during the late Victorian, early Edwardian period.
They look great worn on their own, or stacked with other rings.
