SOLD - Edwardian 9ct Gold & Silver, Rose-Cut Diamond Swallow/Bird stickpin

SOLD - Edwardian 9ct Gold & Silver, Rose-Cut Diamond Swallow/Bird stickpin

This swallow stickpin features a body, tail, and wings adorned with thirty, small rose-cut diamonds set in silver. Additionally, a small orange gemstone is mounted as the eye.

The rose cut diamonds are grey, but they twinkle under the light.

This romantic, sentimental stickpin would have been given as a token of love, possibly for a loved one departing for war. Swallows lead ships home, they are one of the first birds to be seen when ships are approaching land.

Perfect for a vintage wedding and heirloom to pass down through the generations!
