An exquisite antique 'toi et moi' engagement ring dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910. The sapphire and diamond are set opposite each other, with elegantly curved crossover shoulders. The two stones represent "you and me" - a romantic sentiment for an engagement ring.
Beautifully crafted in platinum.

The old, European-cut diamond measures 4.6mm, it is a deep old cut gemstone with an estimated carat weight of 0.40ct, colour G/H & clarity SI1 to VS1
The sapphire measures 4.6mm, it is a beautiful royal blue colour with an estimated carat weight of 0.40ct. Total gemstone weight: 0.80ct.

One of the most romantic designs in history the Toi et Moi ring (You and Me) became popular after Napoleon gave a toi-et-moi ring to his sweetheart Josephine back in 1776.
