SOLD - Georgian 15ct Rose Gold, Natural Pearl, Hair Mourning, Memorial Brooch, 1805


A quality Georgian high carat rose gold, Natural Pearl mourning brooch featuring a row of half natural pearls mounted in a crimped setting with a central locket / panel containing blonde plaited hair. The central panel is a slice of domed rock crystal.
On the reverse is the following inscription:
"Elizabeth Lucas, 7th Dec, 1805 Orb 66"

The pearls have a lovely thick nacre and are a silvery colour with purple tones.
Complete with pin and T-bar and C-Clasp fitting.
