Mid-century Cultured Pearl Necklace on diamond clasp

A sumptuous row of cultured saltwater Lotus pearls hand strung onto a 9ct white gold and rose-cut diamond Art Deco style clasp.

The quality cream-white pearls display a good nacre and lustre, they graduate in size from 3.2mm to 7mm.

Lotus was a well-known manufacturer of simulated and cultured pearls during the 1960s. Established in Birmingham UK, Lotus pearls became hugely popular and became world reknowned for their craftsmanship and use of quality materials.
