RESERVED - Antique Essex Crystal Rabbit, intaglio Stick Pin in Box


A rare and charming antique Essex crystal stick pin, featuring a finely detailed intaglio of a rabbit beneath a domed rock crystal. This delightful miniature is reverse-carved and hand-painted, when viewed from the top and sides the image has a three-dimensional effect., capturing the gentle expression and naturalistic colouring of a rabbit with remarkable artistry.  


The crystal is set in a gold collet and rope edged mount, complete with barley twist pin.

A beautiful example of the craftsmanship typical of the Edwardian and late Victorian eras. 


This piece is presented in its original tooled leather box, lined with cream velvet and silk, printed inside the lid is:
