Antique 15ct Gold Pearl Crescent Moon, Honeymoon Brooch
A stellar, Victorian crescent moon (honeymoon) brooch crafted in 15ct yellow gold and embellished with graduated, halved, natural seed pearls. Complete with gold pin and C-clasp fitting, together with a tiny loop for the attachment of a safety chain.
The Victorians were very sentimental and crescent moon brooches were often gifted to the bride by the groom on their honeymoon (hence the 'honeymoon' brooch). The crescent moon symbolizes change, the change in their life as they unite in marriage!
Pearl is a birthstone for June.
