SOLD - Victorian 9ct Gold, Huayruro Seed, Wedding, Bar Brooch, Tie Pin
A rare, Victorian 9ct bar brooch featuring two red and black Huayruro seeds mounted on a gold bar.
This brooch was most likely worn at a wedding, as the Huayruro seeds are believed to bring good fortune.
Huayruro seeds are found in pods in the tall trees of the Peruvian rainforest. They are naturally red (female), or red with a black spot (male) and are said to bring good fortune, abundance and a symbol of fertility, while also warding off negative energy.
Perfect for a bride on her wedding day, representing something old (and lucky)!
