A fabulous vintage 18ct yellow gold brooch featuring a detailed rat, adorned with tiny black onyx eyes, climbing down a jade feijoa fruit. Complete with pin and slide barrel clasp.

Possibly originating from New Zealand, where feijoa trees are plentiful (NZ is one of the largest feijoa producers in the world) and the fruit is loved by locals!
