SOLD - Victorian 9ct Rose Gold, Orange Blossom wedding band
A charming, antique 9ct rose gold wedding band with intricate hand-engraved orange blossoms and a decorative milgrain edging. The hallmarks to the inner shank have worn down and are no longer legible. However, the ring is in a good condition overall and there is only a slight wear to the engraving on the outer shank.
Orange blossoms are known as a symbol of innocence and fertility. During the Victorian era, fashionable brides would adorn themselves with orange blossoms (a popular trend influenced by Queen Victoria at her wedding to Prince Albert), and floral engraved wedding bands soon became highly sought after!
