Antique, Belle Epoque 15ct Gold Peridot & Pearl Lariat Necklace
Beautifully made in 15ct gold during the late Victorian period, this antique necklace features a central 9x10.5mm mabe, blister pearl mounted in a collet setting, connected with a small length of chain on both sides to an oval peridot gemstone, mounted in a crimped setting and with a drop at the base of the pearl. The drop features a knife edged, gold bar with a 4.5mm pearl and a pear shaped peridot gemstone drop. This centre piece is connected to two pieces of chain with a bolt ring clasp.
A stunning gemstone, the peridots are a vibrant lime green colour with no visible chips or cracks. There are two, oval 7x8.5mm peridots and a pear shaped 8x12mm peridot with a combined carat weight of around 6:00cts.
