SOLD - Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Albert Chain, T Bar & Dog Clip

A distinguished Edwardian sterling silver Albert chain, beautifully handcrafted with substantial rounded curb links and finished with a T-bar and dog clip. Rich in history and effortlessly stylish, this exceptional antique chain was once worn to secure a gentleman's pocket watch and has since become one of the most iconic pieces of antique jewellery.

Measuring 39cm (15.25 inches) in length and 6mm in width, the chain has a wonderfully weighty feel and an elegant fluidity that sits beautifully around the neck. Every link is stamped with the sterling silver lion passant, a reassuring mark of English silver quality and craftsmanship.

The rounded curb links reflect the understated elegance of the Edwardian period, while the original T-bar and dog clip offer endless versatility. Wear it alone as a statement necklace, suspend an antique fob or pendant from the dog clip, or layer it with longer chains to create a beautifully curated neck stack or contemporary neck mess.

Whether paired with tailoring, knitwear or evening attire, this versatile chain effortlessly bridges heritage and modern style.
