SOLD - Antique Gold Masonic Orb Pendant

A rare and intriguing antique Masonic orb pendant, masterfully crafted in solid 9k gold. Dating from the late Victorian era, circa 1890, this beautifully engineered piece opens to reveal a hidden world of Masonic symbolism.  

In its closed form, it resembles a traditional Masonic "ballot ball" used in fraternal voting. When opened, it reveals a charming hidden design, a clever piece of symbolic craftsmanship from the late 19th to early 20th century.

The orb is constructed with individually hinged arms, which unfold to form a cross composed of six miniature pyramids. Each triangular face is hand-carved with classic Masonic emblems, including the Eye of Providence, a skull and crossbones, the square and compass, the crescent moon, a pyramid, and more.
