Antique Victorian Silver Engraved Bird Locket Pendant


A superb large Victorian Aesthetic Movement sterling silver locket, exquisitely engraved with detailed bird motifs and floral decoration. This striking antique piece is richly detailed on both sides, featuring a bird perched upon a branch against an engraved floral background to one side, and a stork-like bird design to the reverse.

The locket is generously sized, measuring approximately 57.5mm x 33.5mm with a depth of 7.7mm, making it a substantial and highly decorative statement piece.

An exceptional example of Victorian Aesthetic Movement jewellery, showcasing the period’s love of nature-inspired artistry and fine craftsmanship.

This distinguished antique locket bears a full set of English hallmarks together with the maker’s initials “J&FS”, further confirming its authenticity and heritage.
