Art Deco 18ct White Gold, Diamond & Carved Carnelian Brooch


A fine example of Art Deco workmanship, this beautiful diamond and carnelian cluster brooch has been designed with a central carved Carnelian gemstone mounted in a claw setting with a scallop edged diamond mounted frame. The carnelian gemstone measures 20 x 15mm, it is a lovely amber red colour and is beautifully carved into a rose and leaf design.There are eight, rose-cut Diamonds mounted in a millgrain setting. Complete with T-bar and over locking clasp fitting.

Dated around the early Art Deco period (there are influences from the edwardian period in the design of this piece).
