Edwardian 9ct Gold & Ruby greyhound/whippet dog brooch


A fine bar brooch/tie pin depicting a racing dog displaying fantastic craftsmanship with impressive attention to detailing. It has been crafted in 3D (not flat) with realistic fur effect and features, and including a tiny cabochon ruby eye. This super canine has been mounted onto a knife-edge, safety-pin style bar brooch. Finished in a solid 9ct yellow gold, this quality brooch is in an excellent condition!


Beautifully presented in an original, 'G. Brown & Sons' maroon leather antique brooch box (as seen in images).
