SOLD - Edwardian, Belle Epoque 14ct Gold Pearl & Diamond Grape Vine Brooch

A fine example from the 'belle epoque' (beautiful age) era. This exquisite brooch is skillfully made with a cluster of natural pearls representing a bunch of grapes connected to two, diamond pave-set vine leaves. There are a total of sixty-nine tiny rose-cut diamonds mounted in the leaves. Each pearl is connected to a gold wire, intricately made and connected to a gold loop.
Complete with overlocking clasp (this is a later addition)
Can be worn as a pendant or brooch as displayed (chains available to purchase separately, as is the bow suspension brooch displayed in image)

Diamonds are the traditional birthstone for April
Pearls are the traditional birthstone for June
