SOLD - Edwardian Graduated Opal & rock crystal necklace on 10ct gold clasp

This exquisite necklace is dated around the late Edwardian period. It features a row of graduated opal gemstone beads, alternating with faceted, rock crystal rondelle beads, strung onto a 10ct rose gold bolt ring clasp.

The largest opal measures 9mm and graduates in size down to a 4.2mm stone, they are all in a good condition.

The opals are mesmerising, they exhibit a subtle myriad of colours including purple, green & orange.
