SOLD - French Edwardian 18ct Gold, Fleur des Lys stickpin

SOLD - French Edwardian 18ct Gold, Fleur des Lys stickpin

A fantastic, high carat gold stickpin depicting the fleur-de-lys symbol which has been adorned with diamonds and pearls. There are a total of four diamonds, with three charming rose-cuts and one brilliant-cut to the top which appears to be a replacement. Along with the addition of two, sweet seed pearls, the head of the pin has been backed in a rose gold which also makes the solid pin. The pin has been stamped with a French eagle's head hallmark which denotes a minimum gold content of 18ct.

It is worth noting that the replacement diamond does not distract from the original design of the stickpin, it is in a very good condition overall with the original gemstones intact and showing very minimal wear.

Presented in a gorgeous maroon leather box with a royal-blue velvet and silk interior.
