Georgian 9ct Rose Gold, Natural Pearl & Hair Mourning, Memorial Brooch, 16x18mm


A quality Georgian rose gold, Natural Pearl & mourning brooch featuring a row of tiny half natural pearls mounted in a crimped setting with a central locket containing brunette plaited hair encased with a glazed, rock crystal panel, surrounded by a fine gold frame.

The pearls have a lovely thick nacre and are a silvery colour with purple tones.

Complete with T-bar and C-Clasp fitting (the pin is longer than the brooch - this was designed to allow for pinning into heavy garments of the period).
