Antique Italian Three Graces Antique Cameo Brooch


A finely carved antique shell cameo brooch depicting three classical female figures in the style of the Three Graces, likely of Italian origin and dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920s.


Expertly carved from warm orange-brown shell, the figures are rendered in creamy white relief with impressive depth, delicate undercutting, and natural tonal variation. The multi-figure composition is particularly desirable and reflects the skilled craftsmanship associated with the renowned cameo workshops of Torre del Greco.


The cameo is mounted in a simple gold bezel setting and fitted with a rollover safety clasp, making it suitable for both wear and display. The piece is signed by the carver, adding to its authenticity and collectible appeal. The mount has been tested as low carat gold, around 9k gold.


This is a decorative and elegant example of early 20th century cameo work, ideal for collectors, antique jewellery enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a timeless statement piece with classical inspiration.
