Art Deco Platinum, Emerald & Diamond Hair Comb/Slide


Rare, Art Deco, French hair comb, comprising of a tortoiseshell comb decorated with diamonds and emeralds mounted in platinum. There are a total of twenty-one, rose-cut diamonds mounted on the edge of the comb, with two finials each decorated with a cabachon Emerald and two, rose-cut diamonds.


The emeralds each measure 4mm and have a total carat weight of around 0.50ct
The diamonds have a combined carat weight of approx 0.31ct
Total gemstone weight: 0.81ct

Emeralds are the traditional birthstone for May

HALLMARKS: dogs head (french hallmark for Platinum) together with another hallmark (undeciperable)
