SOLD - Rare, Edwardian 9ct Gold Seed Pearl, Royal Navy Crown, screw-back earrings


A fantastic pair of yellow gold, and seed pearl earrings with screw fittings. Each earring has been intricately crafted in the design of the Royal Navy crown, and decorated with ten, perfectly matched seed pearls. 

Beautifully presented in the original gold tooled, blue leather box. Lined with the jeweller's name Gieves Ltd. Gieves was originally established in 1785 as a Royally appointed Royal Navy outfitter. Following WW1, they began trading from a shop situated in Old Bond Street, which was ultimately destroyed in 1940 during the blitz.
