SOLD - Victorian 18ct Gold, Opal and Diamond Boat Ring
A sweet Victorian boat ring featuring three, gorgeous opals and two, twinkling eight-cut diamonds all mounted in 18ct yellow gold.
The cabochon opals are wonderfully lively, displaying a rainbow of colours and with a good transparency. The larger, central opal measures 4mm in diameter, and the two, smaller outer stones each measure 3mm. The two, eight-cut diamonds each measure 2mm.
This pretty ring is in a fair condition, there is a small chip in the central stone but is not noticeable when worn. The hallmarks have been worn with age, however the crown and 18ct stamps are still legible.
