Victorian Coral, Diamond and Pearl 'Holly & Mistletoe' Festive Brooch

This exquisite, early 19th century brooch features diamond studded holly leaves and four tiny coral beads representing the red berries. Diamond mistletoe leaves surround the holly, with their white berries represented by four, sweet seed pearls. All mounted in silver with a gold backing and pin with c-clasp.

A captivating blend of old-world elegance and yuletide charm, this rare piece has been encrusted with an enchanting mix of twenty nine, vari-cut, and rose-cut diamonds that dazzle with a timeless sparkle designed to glow, twinkle and mesmerise under candlelight.

This extraordinary festive themed brooch is in a fantastic condition considering its age. We believe it to date around the late Georgian/early Victorian era. The safety pin and chain are a more recent addition to the brooch and hallmarked with 9/375 (denotes 9ct gold), Anchor (Birmingham assay office), N (date letter for 1907-8), and the maker's mark C.P.
