A stunning, Antique pendant, designed in a circular dome, with a lattice work pattern of "royal blue" enamel strips decorated with a central 4.5mm pearl, 4 x 3mm Pearls and 4 x 2.5mm Pearls.
Complimented with a gold rope frame and matching bail.
There is glazed locket verso, with tiny plaited brunette hair.
The Enamel pendant measures 21.5 x 39mm (including bail) and is 13mm in depth.
Very popular in the Georgian and Victorian era, mourning jewellery often contained a keepsake, a lock of hair or photo of a loved one.
