SOLD - Art Deco, 3 stone star-set diamond gypsy ring


This sweet gypsy ring features three, twinkling old-cut diamonds each mounted in a star-shaped setting. All beautifully crafted in a buttery 18ct yellow gold. 

This timeless beauty is in a fair pre-loved condition and shows some evidence of wear which is commensurate with age. There is indication of resizing to the shank but this does not interfere with the hallmarks, which although slightly worn are still fully legible.

Fully hallmarked with: crown, 18 (denotes 18ct gold), U (date letter for 1920) together with the Chester assay mark.

Also referred to by the Victorians as a 'friendship ring', gypsy rings have recently seen a huge rise in popularity. It is a style that is timeless, robust, and versatile. A great jewellery box essential, gypsy rings make fantastic stackers but also maintain enough character and size to be worn alone.
